Student Life encompasses multiple program areas working together to support your success at Texas A&M. From alcohol education and violence prevention to legal services, off-campus living support and family programs, each area offers specialized resources tailored to student needs. Director’s Office
The Director’s office provides administrative oversight within Student Life including: budgets, human resources, marketing and communications, facilities management, donor relations and general departmental outreach including resource tables. They also work directly with the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs to manage student behavioral intervention and threat management.

Alcohol & Other Drug Education
We are dedicated to promoting responsible drinking behaviors and reducing alcohol and other substance misuse among students. We provide a range of educational workshops, peer-led discussions, and outreach campaigns to raise awareness about the risks associated with excessive alcohol consumption and to address the physical and mental health effects of various substances. Our program also offers resources and support services for students seeking help with substance-related issues. By fostering a culture of informed decision-making and support, we aim to create a healthier and safer campus community.

Graduate & Professional Student Government
The Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG) exists to work in cooperation with Texas A&M University and to bring a voice to the needs of graduate and professional students through advocacy, outreach, and research.

Interpersonal Violence Prevention
Interpersonal Violence Prevention includes education and outreach initiatives that increase awareness promote healthy relationships, and prevent harm. Through collaborative and in-house workshops, peer education, and consultations, we empower students to build healthy relationships, practice prevention and harm-reduction strategies, and build a proactive culture in Aggieland that values non-violence.

New Student & Family Programs
New Student & Family Programs (NSFP) assists new undergraduate students as they transition to Texas A&M while supporting families of all undergraduate students. Our work with incoming students and all families of undergraduate students creates opportunities that lead to successful student transition, retention, and persistence to graduation.

Off Campus Student Services
Off Campus Student Services (OCSS) empowers Aggies by providing education and guidance to help them navigate off-campus living in a manner that supports their wellbeing and academic success. In collaboration with partners both on and off campus, OCSS assists students in addressing challenges and building positive relationships with the university and the Aggieland community. OCSS supports students and stakeholders through educational workshops and events, outreach programs, mediation services, and individual consultations.

Pregnant & Parenting Student Services
Texas A&M is committed to the academic and personal success of all students including those who are pregnant and parenting. We have various support services designed to help pregnant and parenting students succeed and thrive at Texas A&M. Case Managers from Student Assistance Services connect with students to provide one-on-one, individualized support.
The Student Parent Liaison is responsible for providing current and incoming parenting students with information regarding supportive measures and other resources available to parenting students at the university. Student Assistance Services
Student Assistance Services (SAS) connects students with guidance, resources, and support for personal and academic matters. SAS serves as an initial point of contact for information on various topics. Common issues supported by Student Assistance Services include referrals, resource connections, behavior follow-up, student absence notifications, Silver Taps, student death, and transition-related concerns.

Student Legal Services
Student Legal Services provides free legal advice and assistance to students. They cover various topics, including landlord/tenant disputes, criminal law, expunctions, automobile accidents, traffic tickets, and consumer protection. Additionally, mediation services are available to help students resolve conflicts.

Student Media
Through The Battalion, The Aggieland Yearbook, and Maroon Life magazine, student journalists and creators of all majors serve a key role on our A&M campus. Texas A&M Student Media provides honest, factual, high-quality journalism, independent news, commentary, sports and opinion work to our A&M campus, along with the Bryan-College Station community. Our student organizations and publications create a professional learning experience where student journalists (and students of all majors) can gain professional experience and soft skills through writing, design, photography, and other visual storytelling methods. Our publications create storytelling and coverage that is solely created, edited and published by students.
