DONATE TO STUDENT LIFE
Student Life has several specific endowments focused on particular programming and list of the endowments can be found below. If there is a program area that you are interested in supporting, but it does not have an endowment associated with it, you can make a donation to the department general fund held by the Texas A&M Foundation and in the memo line write the program area.
RECOVERY PROGRAMMING
The funds within this account will be used for programming within Student Life for students who are in recovery. Programming will consist of sober tailgates, National Recovery Month events, group meetings for those in recovery as well for the on- and off-campus stakeholders dedicated to supporting students in recovery as well as travel to recovery focused professional development for students and staff.
FAMILY WEEKEND
Family Weekend is a tradition that has existed at Texas A&M University since 1919. Texas A&M prides itself on making its visitors feel welcome. The university has given parents and guests a special time to feel this warm greeting. Family Weekend has become our official “HOWDY!” Held by the Texas A&M Foundation, the Family Weekend endowment is a permanent funding source that will enhance programs and events associated with Family Weekend.
LGBTQ+ PRIDE CENTER
The GLBT Endowment at Texas A&M University was established in honor of the 25th anniversary of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) recognition on Texas A&M University’s campus in 2010. Held by the Texas A&M Foundation, the endowment is a permanent funding source that will support LGBTQ+ programming, events, resources, and scholarships for students. The first endowment of its kind at Texas A&M, it will provide an opportunity for people who want to support the LGBTQ+ community on and around campus. It also will help develop and maintain connections between LGBTQ+ Aggies, former students and allies.
STUDENT ASSISTANCE SERVICES
Donations made to Student Assistance Services can be made to the Student Life department general fund held by the Texas A&M Foundation and in the memo line write Student Assistance Services. Funds will be used to support students who are in need of resources to support their personal and academic matters such as textbooks, food and toiletries.
WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTER
Gifts to the Women’s Resource Center provide supplemental funding for student-focused programs such as the Elect Her: Aggie Women Win Conference, the AMPLIFY | Women’s Mentoring Circle and salary negotiation workshops. With this funding, we are able to expand and enhance programs for our students.
