GOOD NEIGHBOR NETWORK

  • Aggie families engaging with a Good Neighbor Network property. Staff are behind a table laughing and smiling with the families on Aggieland Saturday.

This exciting collaboration between Student Life and local property managers is designed to create a supportive off-campus living experience for students. By committing to high standards in resident safety, property maintenance, fair leasing practices, and open communication with the university, we’re ensuring that students can thrive in their home away from home. Join us in fostering a vibrant community where everyone feels secure and connected!

What if I have concerns that a property is not upholding the program commitments?

If you (or a loved one) are a resident of a Network property and believe the commitments are not being honored, please submit a detailed description of your concerns to [email protected]. If you have additional documentation, such as photos, emails, or copies of maintenance requests, please attach them to the email.

After receiving your report, we may contact you for clarification. We will arrange a meeting with the property manager to discuss the report. If noncompliance with the program criteria is confirmed, the manager has 30 days to resolve the issue.

If unresolved, a final warning letter will be issued, and the property will be removed from the network if it does not comply within 14 days.

Join the Good Neighbor Network

Applications open once a year for properties who wish to join the Good Neighbor Network. The Good Neighbor Network commitment outlines the agreement between the property and our department. To receive the full range of program benefits for the current academic year, you must complete the application no later than October 1. A property must be open for occupancy by the application deadline for the current academic year in order to be considered for membership.
