Director of Student Life

Senior Associate Director

Provides leadership, supervision, and direction for assigned areas within the department. Assists the Director in overall department management and development. Oversees risk management and serves as the liaison to human resources, financial, and marketing staff.

Provides advanced support to the Director and Senior Associate Director, handling confidential matters, supervising staff, coordinating office procedures, and managing events. This role maintains high-level campus interactions and contributes to the development of the department.

Administrative Coordinator I

Frontline contact for student services, managing inquiries and referrals, and scheduling. Supports senior staff with administrative tasks, calendar management, and records as well as supervises student employees and maintains office professionalism.

Student Care Consultant

Supports the areas of threat assessment, student care/support planning and implementation. Provides oversight to the rapid threat assessment process through support, guidance and education to staff as well as other campus partners involved in student care planning and intervention.

Manages shared spaces in the SSB and supports building functions by overseeing room reservations and monitoring/tracking work orders.

Develops student support programs and services on campus, also contributing to Student Life Center programming. Supervises team of student employees for the Center.

Provides outreach and support for former foster and adopted students through relationship building, monthly newsletters, and programming. Supports students by identifying resources and action plans that promote academic success and positive wellbeing.

Provides leadership, supervision and strategic program oversight for the substance misuse and interpersonal violence prevention priorities of Student Life. Facilitates student engagement, assessment, collaboration and outreach for the area.

Assist in strategic oversight and supervision of unit; assists with the development and implementation of outreach, programs, and student engagement as well as provide support for staff outcomes. Deliver presentations and workshops, facilitate sanction meetings, participate in university committees.

Neighborhood Engagement

Manages town/gown functions and coordinating events for off-campus students, developing relationships with student leaders and external stakeholders, and serving on various committees. Aims is to enhance community connections, improve student learning outcomes, and execute strategic initiatives.

Off-Campus Housing

Manages and coordinates off-campus housing functions, including educating students on lease law, landlord/tenant relations, and healthy living habits. Cultivates vendor relations, collaborates with the housing database vendor, and focuses on providing off-campus living education to Texas A&M students. Liaises with stakeholders and oversees event planning for off-campus students.

Associate Coordinator

Coordinates Aggieland’s Official Welcome: Howdy Week, including facilities, budget, programming, and assessment. Oversees the online orientation program, handling content development, design, delivery, and assessment of the program's learning outcomes and effectiveness. Assists with the development and implementation of New Student Conference programming.

Associate Coordinator of Family Programs

Supervises and advises the Aggie Parent & Family Ambassadors. Coordinates Parents of the Year and Family Weekend events, holistic management of family communication and supports New Student Conference engagement.

Oversees the recruitment, selection, and training of Aggie Orientation Leaders, managing a team of 30-40 students. Develops and executes programs for New Student Conferences and other initiatives to enhance student transition and retention.

Manages Howdy Week events, Online Orientation, and new student programming. Coordinates events, administers programs, collaborates with campus offices for special populations, and supports orientation and retention initiatives.

Provides full-time advisement and supervision within the Graduate and Professional Student Government, overseeing key student leaders and directly assisting in diverse government activities, with a focus on developing and implementing student programs and services.

GPSG President

Represents the graduate and professional students at Texas A&M as the President of the Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG). Coordinates events for the graduate and professional student body. Facilitates positive relationships with university administrators and stakeholders to serve the needs of graduate and professional students.

Student Research Week Director

Leads event planning and execution for Student Research Week. Manages budgets, coordinates marketing efforts, and oversees the recruitment and training of committee members, ensuring a successful showcase of student research and innovation.

Communications Manager

Oversees design and production of marketing materials, implements strategic communication plans, manages brand compliance, liaises with stakeholders, supervises staff, and manages the department's websites.

Communications Coordinator

Engages in social media management, content creation, graphic design, and digital media oversight. Supervises one student worker as a part of the Student Life content team.
