RESOURCES
Student Rights & Campus Resources
We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions regarding the rights of pregnant and parenting students and some of the on-campus resources available to students. For more in-depth information and personal assistance, please contact Student Assistance Services at 979.845.3113 or the Women's Resource Center at 979.845.8784.
Breastfeeding Welcomed Here Campaign
As a part of the Women's Resource Center's mission to make education more accessible to women, we have compiled a list of campus buildings which offer spaces for lactating mothers to breastfeed their children or pump.
The Little Aggie
The Little Aggie is a resource guide for Aggie parents with information about local activities for children, information about local medical providers, and suggested questions for childcare providers. Please note, Texas A&M University does not endorse any medical or childcare provider and recommends that all parents do their own research to determine the best provider for their child(ren). We are currently updating the Little Aggie and plan to publish an updated version in late spring 2021.
For information on current events for children in the Bryan/College Station Area, visit the Brazos Family Magazine.
Resources
There are many local, state, and national resources available to pregnant and parenting students covering a variety of issues from maternal health, to breastfeeding, to childcare.
All Title IX Complaints regarding discrimination based on sex, sexual harassment (sexual violence), and related retaliation should be reported to the Office of Risk, Ethics, and Compliance or the Title IX Officer, Jennifer Smith.
