TITLE IX TRAINING

If you have a hold on your registration related to the Sexual Assault Prevention, Title IX training, please read the following carefully.
Before you proceed, ensure you have a hold associated with Title IX. You may check this by logging into Howdy. Click on the Registration Readiness icon where you will see any holds that you have.
If you have a Title IX hold, the following will be listed:

If you do not see the above on your hold screen in Howdy, your hold is not active. This means the Sexual Assault Prevention training is not blocking your registration. You might look to other holds listed.
If you have verified that you have a Title IX Training Required hold:
If you have not completed the training, you may do so by going to the Vector LMS website.
When you login to the training, you will be leaving the Texas A&M University network. You will be logging into a web service hosted by Vector LMS on behalf of Student Life at Texas A&M University. When you log in the required training should appear in your My Assignments tab.
If you do not see the training assigned, click on the View Library button under Interested in Extra Training?
In the Extra Training page use the search bar to find the Sexual Assault Prevention training. There are several options for training including graduate student, adult student (this is most appropriate for distance students) and undergraduate student. Please choose the course most appropriate for you.
If you are unsure whether you have completed the training, you may find out by clicking on the training link above and logging in with your Texas A&M University credentials. Click on Training History. where you can see when you completed the course as well as view your certificate of completion.
Below is an example of a completed course. You must login to the Sexual Assault Prevention training in order to find your individual course progress. If you attempt to submit a screenshot of the information below as evidence of your completion of the training, you may be charged with a violation of the Texas A&M University student rule for dishonesty.
If you are unsure whether you have completed the training, you may find out by clicking on the training link above and logging in with your Texas A&M University credentials. Click on Course Progress. When the course progress box appears, you should be able to see the list below.
If ANY of these sections are not completed, your hold will not be removed. You must finish all portions of the training.
I STILL HAVE A HOLD
The automated hold system checks for course completion multiple times a day. If you have just completed the training, please wait before filling out the form below. For instance, if you completed the training at 7:00am, please check your hold status after 12:30pm.
If you still have a hold after waiting for the automated system or you completed the training prior the current date and still have a hold, please fill out the form below.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Sexual Assault Prevention is built to function most effectively in the most current version of Google Chrome. It is also recommended that you clear all of your cookies and cache if you continue to have problems. If problems persist after these steps, please contact the Vector Solutions website.
Yes, you may login and logout of the training. When you log back into the training, you will be able to resume where you left off. You will also be able to go back and review any content you have accessed previously.

The training is good for one year. Example: If you were a new masters student in Fall 2021 and completed the training and now are a new PhD student in Fall 2022 you would not have to complete the training. Please send an email to studentlife@tamu.edu to request a staff member to review your account and determine if you can have the requirement waived. Include your name and UIN in the email.
Send an email to studentlife@tamu.edu with your name and UIN stating you are receiving an error message with you log in. Staff will reset your log in and you will receive an email from the platform stating you have 12 hours to reset your log in. If you need additional time, staff can reset your log in again.
EXEMPTION REQUEST
This form is for students requesting an exemption from taking the Sexual Assault Prevention training. Please be aware that if have completed Sexual Assault Prevention at another institution, you will still be asked to complete the Sexual Assault Prevention training at Texas A&M University. Failure to complete the Sexual Assault Prevention training or have an approved exemption will result in a registration hold until the completion of Part 1 of the Sexual Assault Prevention training or an exemption request has been approved. Individuals receiving an exemption may be asked to meet with a university staff member and/or will be asked to read through summary materials containing resource, reporting, and other required information.
Please be aware that furnishing false information in your exemption request may constitute a violation of the Texas A&M University Student Rule regarding Dishonesty. (Rule 24.2.1 found at http://student-rules.tamu.edu/rule24).
