Drug Education Workshops

The Drug Education Workshop (DEW) is an educational workshop focused on how drugs work and the effects of drugs on the body. DEW's are scheduled by semester, and space is limited. Drug Education Workshops consist of two parts: attendance at a Drug 101 Presentation (Part 1), and attendance at a Workshop (Part 2).  You must attend BOTH sessions to recieve credit.

If you were sanctioned to particpate in a Drug Education Workshop, please visit us at Student Services @ White Creek, Building 1. You MUST have your official sanction letter so we may verify your requirements (via paper or phone/tablet), or we will require you to visit the Student Conduct Office to retrieve another copy. We cannot register for workshops over the phone or via e-mail. It is highly recommended that you attend your workshop and presentation as soon as you can, regardless of your deadline as workshops fill quickly, particularly at the end of the semester. Health Promotion makes every effort to provide a variety of workshop dates/times throughout the semester; however, please be aware that workshop availability can be limited during peak times of the semester.

Note: All dates, times, and locations are subject to change due to availability of facilitators, space, and other constraints. All updates to students already signed up for a workshop will be sent to your TAMU E-mail on record. Please check this website for updates on workshops, as information may change. Health Promotion reserves the right to cancel a workshop based on the above factors.

To schedule a DEW, visit the Health Promotion office at Student Services @ White Creek, Building 1.

Drug Education Workshops- Reminder: You must sign up for BOTH Part 1 and Part 2 to complete the DEW, and they must be completed in the SAME SEMESTER.
