Student Conflict Resolution Services
Student Conflict Resolution Services (SCRS) serves students by offering a
full range of services to assist and counsel students in resolving their
disputes and conflict in a way that facilitates individual responsibility
and contributes to their growth and development.
|
|
Aggies have the opportunity to consult with
professionals in each area (Student Conduct Services, Student Mediation
Services, or Student Legal Services) to discuss their particular
concern.
|
Outreach and Education
Student Conflict Resolution Services strives to be proactive in guiding and
addressing student behavior by conducting research and maintaining
statistical data to develop an understanding of campus conduct. It is with
this enhanced understanding that SCRS seeks to educate the campus community
through literature, informational workshops, and training seminars.
By addressing student conduct, enforcing university policy and procedures
and providing students with the resources to resolve their own personal
disputes, the SCRS promotes life-long learning and community standards.

|
- Student Mediation Services
provides assistance to students through mediation which facilitates
communication between parties to promote reconciliation, settlement, or
understanding of one another.
|
- Student Legal Services
advises and counsels students concerning their legal problems, and
informs them of their rights and responsibilities through private
interviews and consultations.
