MARIJUANA 101
Marijuana 101 is a two-part online course that helps students assess their cannabis use and understand cannabis’ effects. Part 1 is comprised of 6 individual lessons and a pre- and post-test. Part 2 lets students reassess their use and review information from Part 1. After completing Part 2, a completion certificate will be sent to the enrolled student.
Part 2 will only be made available a week after Part 1 is completed. If you are taking Marijuana 101 as a Student Conduct Office sanction, plan your completion of both parts in order to obtain the completion certificate and fulfill your sanction requirements before the deadline you were given.
Marijuana 101 takes fewer than 2.5 hours to complete, and you can log in and out as needed (i.e. you don’t need to complete it in one sitting). Upon completion, you will receive a completion notification by email. Save your Certificate of Completion for your records.
Who is it for?
While Marijuana 101 is sometimes mandatory for students who violate Texas A&M’s student rules, the course can be taken by any student who wishes to assess their cannabis use and learn more about how cannabis works and the effects it can have.
If you take the course as a non-sanctioned student, the Health Promotion office does not record or track your enrollment. Non-sanctioned enrollments will NOT be monitored or shared with the Student Conduct Office.
