GSS strives to serve the graduate student population through various programs, publications and resources. There are over 14,000 graduate and professional students at Texas A&M, and plenty of ways for you to connect and get involved, such as Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC). This sponsored student organization is housed within the Offices of the Dean of Student Life (ODSL), where the GSC Advisor is located. ODSL partners with the GPSC for certain events such as wine tasting, but both entities provide individual programs and events as well. For example, GPSC hosts Grad Camp, but ODSL hosts Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week. You can find more about the programs, publications and resources ODSL provides to graduate and professional students by clicking on the menu to the left.

GPSC also collaborates with the Office of Graduate and Professional Students (OGAPS), both of which support graduate and professional students. OGAPS is primarily responsible for supporting graduate education in terms of procedures, additional programs, and enhancing the academic environment, whereas GPSC supports graduate students in the extracurricular environment so that they can be successful academically.
