Community Childcare Listings

Bryan/College Station Child Care Listing (last updated Spring 2004)
Adult & Graduate Student Services has surveyed many of the facilities in the local Bryan/College Station community to offer additional information on these participating caregivers for members of the TAMU community.

In addition, the Texas Department of Protective & Regulatory Services (PRS) offers a complete listing of the childcare facilities in the Brazos County and throughout Texas. 


Texas A&M University Children's Center
The Children's Center opened in September of 1998. The Center is designed to serve children six weeks of age through pre-kindergarten.

Students, staff and faculty at Texas A&M University can apply to receive care for their children with the Children's Center Director. Students (especially undergraduate students) may qualify for a fee reduction through a tuition supplement assistance program..

Child Care Management Services (CCMS)
Childcare for eligible families. Also trains childcare providers on a variety of child development and childcare issues. Open  8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Parents Night Out - Sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega
Once a month during the academic year Alpha Phi Omega (APO), a co-ed service organization, sponsors FREE childcare for students, staff and faculty of Texas A&M.  This is typically held on the second Friday of the month during the fall and spring semesters.

Advertise with the Student Employment Office
Students that are looking for jobs both on and off campus will check with the Student Employment Office (Pavillion, Rm 219). They have a web database that allows potential employers to list their position(s). They even have a 'child-care' category in their database. Contact Student employment at (979) 845-0686 for more information or visit their employer information web page for information on how to post a childcare position.

Aggies With Kids
Aggie With Kids is also a student organization for current Texas A&M Students who happen to have kids of their own. Children are always welcome at events and activities.
