ELECTRICITY
Most apartments require that you pay your own electricity bills/costs and
make arrangements for starting the service. Make arrangements for connection
in advance, as some utilities take several days to connect or install.
You can prevent problems with your bills by simply reading your own meter to
check the amount of electricity you consume. Each city provides a brochure
explaining rates and billing procedures.
