If your apartment manager has not returned to you the security deposit that
you put down before you moved in to your apartment within thirty days of the end
of the lease term, the following is an example
of a letter that you may wish to send requesting the deposit:

Keep a copy of this letter signed by the manager, or send the letter by certified mail with "Return Receipt" requested!

apartment in clean and satisfactory condition.

to return the security deposit or furnish an itemized statement
of the deductions within thirty days of vacating the apartment.
