Graduate Student Resources

Graduate Student Services

OCSS strives to serve the graduate student population through various programs, publications and resources. There are over 10,000 graduate students at Texas A&M, and plenty of ways for you to connect and get involved, such as Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC). This sponsored student organization is housed within the Offices of the Dean of Student Life, where the GSC Advisor is located. OCSS partners with the GPSC for certain events such as wine tasting, but both entities provide individual programs and events as well. For example, GPSC hosts Grad Camp, but OCSS hosts Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week. You can find more about the programs, publications and resources OCSS provides to graduate students by clicking on the menu to the left.

OCSS also collaborates with the Office of Graduate and Professional Students (OGAPS), both of which support graduate students. OGAPS is primarily responsible for supporting graduate education in terms of procedures, additional programs, and enhancing the academic environment, whereas OCSS supports graduate students in the extracurricular environment so that they can be successful academically.
