Pinnacle National Honor Society

Adult, Graduate & Off Campus Student Services accepts applications and nominations for Pinnacle National Honor Society each spring. Pinnacle is a national honor society to recognize non-traditional students for their academic and co-curricular accomplishments. Texas A&M University has been a chartered institutional member since 1995.

 

Minimum standards for members:

    • Must have junior (U3), senior (U4), post-baccalaureate (U5) or graduate (G6, G7, G8) student status
    • Minimum cumulative grade point average (GPR)
    • 3.0 for undergraduates
    • 3.4 for graduate students
    • Undergraduates must be non-traditional (at least 25 years of age OR married, parents, veterans or another situation that classifies them as non-traditional student)
    • Have been involved in at least (3) campus and/or community activities during their time as a student
    • Demonstrated leadership, persistence and future promise
    • Maintain the highest ethical standards

 

Should an applicant be selected there is a one-time dues payment of $20 for each new inductee. The dues go directly to Pinnacle's national headquarters to pay for certificates, membership pins, diploma seals and postage. Pinnacle assures members they will never be solicited to purchase anything as a result of membership. Dues will not be collected until after the selection process when an applicant has been offered membership.

 

Applications for the spring 2015 class of Pinnacle National Honor Society will be available February 2015.

 

Pinnacle’s spring induction ceremony will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 6:00-7:30pm in the Memorial Student Center 2404.
