You can have fun, relax, entertain friends, and yes, even drink alcohol without breaking the law, annoying your neighbors or getting the police involved. Here are some ways to help make your party fun and safe.

• Make sure there are at least two completely sober people at the party to handle any noise or emergencies
• Talk to your neighbors before the party to let them know what's going on
• Know your lease regulations
• Invite people that you know well
• Make sure there're plenty of trash cans/recycling available
• Have non-alcoholic drinks and non-salty food available
• Card your guests and only serve to those of age
• Have a designated area without alcohol
