Ecstasy/MDMADrugs Use

Ecstasy/MDMA
 

Ecstasy is considered a psychoactive drug. Other names for ecstasy include "X", "E", Scooby Snacks, XTC, Lover’s Speed, Clarity, Cristal, Hug Drug.

Short Term Effects
  • Decrease sexual arousal / orgasm
  • Confusion
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Paranoia
  • Sleeplessness
  • Dry eyes & blurred vision
  • Faintness & tremors
  • Rapid eye movement
  • Sweating and /or chills
  • Nausea & muscle tension
  • Involuntary teeth clenching
  • Causes excessive energy "over-amping" (dancing to the point of exhaustion and dehydration)
  • Increased heart rate, faster respiration, & higher body temperature
  • Increases empathy with others
Long Term Effects
  • Memory deficits up to 66 days after last use
  • Tolerance
  • Psychological dependence
  • Increased susceptibility to flu, colds, and sore throats
  • Chronic psychosis
  • Clinical depression
Ecstasy tablets may contain other substances (meth, ketamine, etc.) without your knowledge
Ecstasy is a Schedule I Drug under the Controlled Substances Act
